Doctor Appointments, First Week, Digger, and Bath Time

So we have survived our first week after bringing Isaac home!

We have been actually pretty lazy, and staying home for the most part. We took a couple trips out just to get out of the house, but nothing big. Mom and Dad were here to help out, but Yesterday they left to head home, and Tuesday Aaron's parents should be here to spend some time with Isaac and Aaron before Aaron deploys. But I appreciated my parents being here! they helped out so much! and made sure we ate, and ate healthy! and helped out in the mornings when Aaron and I were just so tired after staying up with the bud, and Grandma got her cuddle time in with him then too.. and just helped cleaned and organize our house. Thank You Grandma and Papa Bruns!
And Now we have Grandma and Papa Kriekel coming to spoil Isaac! YAY! Looking forward to spending time with them!

Isaac had his first Doctor's Appointment this past Thursday.
He is a very healthy baby! He weighed in at 7lbs 15oz. So he only lost about 4 oz off his birth weight! He grew an inch and quarter. so he is 20 and quarter inches long! (I think he is going to be long and skinny like his daddy!) We had to go to the hospital to get some blood work done, the Doctor was concern about Jaundice, so we had to go and get that done. Isaac wasn't a happy bud about it. and it made Mommy very sad that he was crying like he was. But we won't know anything until Monday. Since the Doctor didn't call us yesterday, So we are worried but I talked to the nurses at the OB Ward and they said that just to remember that No News is Good News.. (my motto!)

Ah Digger, Digger LOVES  Isaac, Isaac LOVES Digger (at least we think he does)
Digger is protective of the Bud, and has to be right there through everything! if Isaac is crying he wants to know why, and looks at us like why are you not doing anything or moving fast enough to check on my buddy!! Digger also LOVES to cuddle with Isaac. It is so cute! and He just loves the little man!

Isaac got his FIRST bath also! and we are all slowly getting our hearing back from that..
Though his second bath went a lot better and he didn't scream until I was taking him out, and started to wrap him up in the towel (I think the cold air hit full body and he didn't like that)
Not Happy!!
The Mommy and Daddy trying to figure this out
The Nice Clean Bud!!

So We have survived and Isaac is such a blessing to have in our Life. we are so happy, and life couldn't be better right now!

In a few short weeks Aaron is going to be deploying and Isaac, Digger, Bo, myself and the Hammy's are on our own. and its going to be a hard time for Aaron and I both when it comes time to say good bye.
We will be able to do this, and be able to stay strong, but this will be a hard deployment all around.
So this blog is actually going to be more in benefit for Aaron to read about our days, and share pictures and see pictures of the Bud.
So that's all for this week! I'll update more later, Not sure what the schedule is going to be now.. But I'll figure it out and keep this blog going!!
