Still got a lot to do, but I'm waiting until after the showers before I finish up the nursery.
List of things I need to get done before this little one makes an appearance:
- Organize baby clothes
- Organize Closet
- Get a bookshelf or end table
- Get a Floor Lamp with Reading Light
- Finish sewing those damn bumpers
- Sew another blanket
- make a decision if I really want to sew a crib skirt or not.
- Organize the changing table
- Stock up on batteries
- Wash EVERYTHING
I know I have more but that's all I got for now..
Here is the Baby Bump Pictures with Comparison from 10 weeks before that and before that!
Last Thursday I had my 3 Hour Glucose Test.. I didn't complete it, I threw up in the first hour, so they sent me home, and told me that My Doctor will decided next week what he wants to do about it.
Well I had my Schedule Doctor Appointment today. He asked what happened and I told him, so He decided that just to be cautious, he wants me to start monitoring my blood sugar 4 times a day. So I have a Glucose Meter now, and I get to do that, and record what my blood sugar is for the next couple weeks until my next appointment. And we will be going from there! He says I need to be careful what I eat, so no more white bread, no more fast food, no more pure sugar candies, NO MORE POP **tear**lol. But I don't have to go overboard, just beware what I'm eating. and to just monitor what my blood sugar is.
So that's not bad, not looking forward to pricking the fingers, but oh well, its what I gotta do for this kid! rather be cautious and do this, then come labor and find out the lil pumpkin is really the size of the Great Pumpkin, and I have to go through a C-Section. or he has low blood sugar, or other type of complications because I have Gestational Diabetes, and I didn't treat it. So its a precaution.
Other then that, nothing new to report. School is going good, there nothing good on tv anymore, and I can't sleep cause my back hurts all the time!
This Sunday, my very good AWESOME AMAZING Friends are throwing me a Baby Shower, and they keep telling me that they are having fun planning this, but won't give me any details... Kind of makes me nervous! LOL But it should fun! I'll report next week how it went, and hopefully will have lots of pictures to share!
So that's all I got for this week.
I'll have more next! Love Ya!
Baby's now the size of a squash! As baby's skin smoothes out, her brain just keeps getting more wrinkled. All those grooves and indentations increase surface area, meaning more room for that oh-so-essential brain tissue. She's also adding some brawn -- her grip is now strong enough to grasp a finger.
Your Baby in Week 30 of Pregnancy
Your belly’s increasing size is a definite clue that your baby is getting bigger every day, weighing in at over three pounds now (he’ll be packing on the weight at a rate of half a pound per week for the next seven weeks). Also growing daily is his brain, which is actually starting to look like the real thing with those characteristic grooves and wrinkles. And now that your little genius can regulate his own body temperature and turn up the heat, he'll start shedding lanugo, the downy body hair that's been keeping him warm up until now.
